The Save Media step is the handoff point between editing and delivery. It shows the completed meme, explains what will be emailed, asks for the required consent, and collects the destination email address when the user is not signed in.

This page is intentionally more careful than the editor. The user is no longer just arranging an image locally in the browser: they are asking CoupleMemes.com to process the generated meme, store delivery details, and send an email. The sections below explain what happens before the Send Media button is used.

Final Meme Preview

The preview should prioritize the completed meme content. It shows the generated meme that will be sent by email, not the untouched original capture. Branding, when enabled for the site, is applied when the final meme is displayed or sent.

Animated memes may show a lightweight branded preview first so the page can appear quickly. If a play button is shown, the preview is the quick loading version and clicking the button loads the full generated GIF. This keeps the review step responsive without changing what will be sent.

If something looks wrong in the preview, the user should go back to the editor before sending. The editable process step is documented in the Process Media guide.

Consent

The user must accept the send agreement before CoupleMemes.com emails the generated meme. This confirms that the user understands they are responsible for having permission to use the image, that the meme should follow the site rules, and that the site may process the generated image for delivery.

Email Delivery

Anonymous users must enter an email address so the app knows where to send the completed meme. If the email does not belong to an existing user, the app may create a starter user record and include a registration completion link below the meme content. Registered users can send the meme without typing an email address because the app already knows the account email.
